Very rare neck armor from the Clown set. Doubles face armor passives at the cost of LCK -3. The luck penalty is significant but the doubling effect is powerful — any strong face armor piece becomes twice as effective. Part of the Clown set with the Cap and Bells and Clown Makeup: all three pieces carry LCK -3, so running the full set yields massive amplification across face, head, and trinket slots at the cost of considerable luck.

FaceArmorPassiveMultiplierBonus doubles the numerical effect of all passives on whatever face armor the cat is wearing. This means a face piece with a passive that procs 20% of the time now procs 40%, and one that deals 5 damage on trigger now deals 10. The effect applies to all face armor passives simultaneously, so a rich face armor piece with multiple passives benefits disproportionately. LCK -3 reduces crit rate and item drop quality, which is a real cost.

The Ruffle is at its strongest when paired with a face armor piece that has multiple high-value passives — doubling a powerful passive makes the amplification dramatic. Weaker pairings see limited benefit. In the full Clown set context, combine with Cap and Bells (trinket doubling) and Clown Makeup (head armor doubling) to amplify three different armor slot passives simultaneously at -9 total LCK. A calculated risk that pays off only if the doubled passives outperform the luck you sacrifice.
