Small Eye

An uncommon trinket that grants a passive dodge chance (DodgeChance) and adds a status effect to every basic attack (AddStatusToBasicAttack). Small Eye is a dual-utility pick — it improves survivability through evasion while simultaneously making your attacks more dangerous. Particularly effective on mobile builds that attack frequently, getting value from both effects in the same turn.

Dodge chance reduces the probability that incoming attacks land, which compounds in value against enemies that attack multiple times per turn. Combined with AddStatusToBasicAttack, Small Eye lets a cat apply debuffs while being harder to hit — a low-risk offensive tool. The exact dodge percentage and what status it applies on hit both affect the item's ceiling, so checking in-game values when possible is worthwhile.

Pairs well with armor that further increases dodge (Phoenix set, Thief's Cloak, Feathered Necklace) for a build that stacks evasion layers. The on-hit status is a bonus that rewards aggressive play on top of the defensive base. Good for Thief or Monk builds that rely on mobility and basic attacks rather than tanking or spell-casting.
