Soy Milk

Soy Milk is a rare trinket that caps basic attack damage at a low value while granting additional basic attacks per turn. On paper this looks like a nerf, but the extra hits become highly valuable for builds that proc effects on every strike — status applicators, on-hit passives, or abilities that trigger per attack all benefit enormously from the increased attack count. A trap for raw damage builds, but powerful in the right setup.

The damage cap reduces each individual hit to a low fixed value regardless of STR, weapons, or damage passives, which eliminates raw DPS for physical attackers. However, each of those capped hits still triggers any on-hit passive or proc tied to basic attacks: status effects from trinkets like Bird Head or Steven apply on every strike, lifesteal from Chupacabra Tongue fires multiple times, and any ability that chains off a basic attack hit activates more frequently. The additional attacks per turn effectively multiply the proc rate of every on-hit effect in the build.

Soy Milk is a build-defining item that requires a specific on-hit focused kit to be worthwhile. Combining it with multiple status-on-hit sources, Chupacabra Tongue for lifesteal, and any trinkets or mutations that trigger on basic attacks turns each low-damage strike into a full proc package. The total output from procs far exceeds the lost raw damage. Avoid it on straightforward damage builds where basic attack damage is the primary source of DPS. This is one of the most synergy-dependent rare trinkets in the game and completely transforms how the cat fights when used correctly.
