Health Regen restores HP at the end of each turn, so this stacks with passive regen from items like Flower and Intestines. With 2 uses, you can either double-stack regen by using both at once or space them out across a long fight.

+3 Health Regen per turn might sound modest, but over a 5-round fight it translates to 15 HP healed without spending any further actions. Both uses together apply +6 Regen per turn, producing 30 HP of healing across a typical encounter. Because Regen stacks additively with passive sources, Stem Cells are especially valuable on cats already running regen-focused builds — they multiply the returns significantly. The effect persists for the rest of the battle regardless of when it's used.

Stem Cells are best on tankier cats that can stay in the fight long enough for the Regen to compound — a cat that gets eliminated quickly won't benefit from the per-turn healing. Use both charges early in difficult fights to maximize total healing output. In regen-stacking builds alongside Flower, Intestines, or regen-boosting mutations, Stem Cells can turn a cat into a near-unkillable frontliner that continuously heals back damage taken. Excellent for boss fights where the total healing over many rounds adds up substantially.
