A rare Paper set weapon that grants +2 Intelligence until the end of battle. It doesn't deal damage directly, but the Intelligence boost can significantly improve abilities and mutations that scale with INT. Most valuable in longer fights where that extra Intelligence pays off across multiple ability uses. Part of the Paper set.

The +2 INT buff applies for the full battle duration, meaning every INT-scaling ability used that fight benefits from the boost. The earlier you activate it in a fight, the more uses you'll get the amplified effect on. Using it before your opener lets your first ability cast hit harder than it otherwise would. Combined with other INT buffs like Brain Candy, the Textbook can contribute to a significant temporary INT spike.

Best in Mage or spell-heavy builds where INT directly increases damage or effect magnitude across all abilities. Part of the Paper set, which rewards collecting Paper set pieces together. A straightforward weapon slot upgrade for INT builds that want to squeeze out more performance during difficult fights.
