Brimstone Rune

Internal engine status effect. Brimstone Rune is a demonic glyph effect that adds fire damage or Burn application to the affected unit's attacks. Part of the demonic glyph system (gpakId: DemonicGlyph_Fire).

This rune infuses attacks with hellfire, applying Burn stacks and fire-element damage on hit. The added Burn creates sustained damage-over-time pressure on top of the base attack damage. When enemies have Brimstone Rune, every hit they land also applies Burn, creating a compounding damage threat over the course of the fight.

Wet status counters Burn application by preventing ignition. Fire-resistant cats take reduced or no damage from the fire component. Other demonic runes include Chaos Rune (bounce attacks), Hexagram Rune (movement), Pentagram Rune (summoning), and Lucifer Rune (melee enhancement).
