Status Effect
Doomed (Internal)
Ticks down at the end of your turn. When it hits 0, Die.
Internal engine status effect. A duplicate entry of the Doomed status used internally for specific mechanic interactions. Functions identically to the player-facing Doomed, which kills the unit when the countdown reaches zero.
This separate status ID exists so certain abilities can apply or track doom timers independently from the standard Doomed status. The dual-ID system allows the engine to differentiate between different sources of Doomed while presenting the same lethal countdown to players. See the main Doomed entry for complete gameplay details on the countdown mechanic and how to counter it.
