Reflects the next {stacks} projectiles you are hit with back at the attacker.
Reflect is a defensive buff that sends the next incoming projectile back at its source. Each reflection consumes 1 stack, so the number of stacks determines how many projectiles can be reflected. Reflected projectiles deal their original damage to the attacker, turning ranged attacks into self-inflicted damage. This makes Reflect a powerful deterrent against ranged-focused enemies and projectile-based abilities.
Reflect only works against projectile attacks, not melee attacks or non-projectile spells. This means it has a specific niche rather than being universally protective. The Mirror elite buff grants permanent projectile reflection to enemies, though at a cost of 2 damage per reflection, creating enemies that punish ranged strategies but slowly damage themselves in the process. Against Mirror enemies, melee attacks and non-projectile abilities bypass the reflection entirely.
Reflect is most valuable in encounters with many ranged enemies or bosses that rely on projectile-based attacks. Timing Reflect to block high-damage projectiles maximizes its value, as reflecting a powerful attack deals that same power back to the source. Against enemies with Reflect or Mirror, switching to melee attacks, area-of-effect spells, or non-projectile abilities is essential to avoid damaging yourself. Reflect pairs well with other defensive buffs that keep the unit alive long enough to benefit from the reflection.
