Status Effect

Tiles Moved to Crit Chance

None

Internal engine status effect. Converts tiles moved during a turn into a temporary critical hit chance bonus. For each tile the unit traverses before attacking, they gain increased crit chance, rewarding long-distance approaches with higher burst potential.

This status turns mobility into offensive reliability. Cats that move the maximum distance before attacking have a substantially higher chance of landing critical hits, which deal double damage. High Speed cats traverse more tiles and accumulate a larger crit bonus. The effect pairs well with high base damage, as crits multiply the total damage.

Used by specific abilities or passives that tie critical strikes to mobility. Combine with Speed Up and Bonus Move for maximum crit chance bonus. This synergizes with charge-in strategies and Luck Up for even higher crit rates. Other Tiles Moved variants convert movement into Strength, Health, Mana, or Neighbor Heal instead.
