C-1000 Boss Guide

C-1000500 HP

Overview

C-1000 is a House Boss in Mewgenics, fought after the C-800 is defeated. Like its predecessor, C-1000 draws from the Terminator franchise (specifically the T-1000 from Terminator 2) and features a shapeshifting mechanic that turns your own party against you. With 500 HP and a fight design that punishes careless party composition, this is one of the most strategically demanding encounters in The Bunker.

Key Mechanics

100% Dodge Chance

C-1000 starts the fight with +100% Dodge Chance. Every attack you throw at him in his base form will miss. Each time C-1000 moves, he loses 10% dodge chance and gains 1 Speed Up. You cannot damage him until he has moved enough times to reduce his dodge chance, or until he transforms.

Shapeshifting

Once C-1000 moves adjacent to one of your cats, he copies that cat on his next turn, inheriting all of its stats (except Constitution and stat ups), abilities, and items, while also clearing all debuffs and dodge chance. After one turn as the copied cat, C-1000 reverts to his original form with 100% dodge chance again and no additional speed. This means C-1000 effectively uses your own cats' strongest abilities against you.

Strategy

The core challenge is that C-1000 uses your own builds against you. The more powerful your cats, the more dangerous C-1000 becomes when he copies them. This creates a unique strategic tension where bringing your absolute strongest builds can backfire.

Position your cats to control which one C-1000 copies. If possible, bait him into copying a tank or support cat rather than your highest-damage dealer. Keeping your strongest offensive cat away from C-1000's approach path limits how much damage he can deal in his copied turn.

The transformation window is your best damage opportunity. When C-1000 is in copied form, he is vulnerable to attacks without dodge chance. Unload your damage during this brief window, then reposition before he reverts to his dodging form.

A healer is mandatory for sustain across the long fight. Since C-1000 alternates between invulnerable dodging and brief vulnerable windows, the fight naturally stretches many rounds. Patience and consistent healing will carry you through.
