Magic Mirror

Awarded for completing the Magic Mirror (Broken) sidequest from Dr. Beanies. During the quest, all your cats have terrible luck and you gain two spikes, but the item is cursed and cannot be removed. The bad luck affects drop rates, critical hits, and other luck-dependent mechanics throughout the entire run. Completing the quest unlocks the fixed Magic Mirror, which gives a 20% chance to reflect projectiles and summons a friendly ghost after fatal damage.

Tip: The terrible luck penalty makes this quest feel consistently unlucky, so plan for the worst and bring reliable builds that do not depend on random chance. A defensive playstyle is recommended. The Magic Mirror reward is a fantastic defensive item that can save a cat from death once per fight.
