Complete both the Core and the Moon to unlock the Lab, the final area of Act 3. The Lab is where you encounter the time machine and Dr. Beanies, setting the stage for the alternate timeline paths. Reaching the Lab is a major milestone that opens up the endgame content, including the Ice Age, Jurassic, Future, and The End areas through the time machine questline.
