Ebola

Start each battle with Bleed 3. Your basic attack inflicts Bleed 2.

Ebola is a contagious disease disorder that causes your cat to start each battle with Bleed 3, a significant bleeding status that deals damage over time. On top of that, your basic attack inflicts Bleed 2 on hit targets, turning your cat into a bleed-spreading combatant. The self-inflicted Bleed 3 is a notable handicap, but the offensive Bleed 2 application on every basic attack provides strong sustained damage.

Ebola is heritable and contagious, meaning it can spread to other party members during adventures. It can be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The contagious nature is concerning because spreading Bleed 3 at battle start to your entire party would be devastating. Among the contagious diseases, Ebola is one of the more dangerous due to Bleed's persistent damage-over-time effect that can stack with other bleed sources.

Strategically, Ebola has some offensive value thanks to the Bleed 2 on basic attacks, which stacks with each hit and deals reliable damage over time. On cats with fast attack rates, the bleed stacking can be potent. However, the self-inflicted Bleed 3 at battle start requires healing support or high Constitution to manage. Contain the spread by isolating the infected cat from the rest of the party. If you can manage the self-bleed, Ebola provides decent offensive bleed application, but there are better offensive disorders without the self-damage penalty.
