Disorder
Fatty Liver
Whenever you lose HP, you permanently lose 1 [img:con].
Fatty Liver causes your cat to permanently lose 1 Constitution every time it loses HP. Each individual instance of HP loss triggers a CON reduction, meaning a single battle where the cat takes several hits can drain multiple points of Constitution permanently. Constitution directly affects max HP, so the stat drain creates a downward spiral where the cat becomes frailer with each hit, making it easier to kill, which causes more hits, which drains more CON.
Fatty Liver is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The cumulative CON loss is permanent and cannot be recovered, making this one of the most degenerative disorders in the game. Unlike Necrosis (which also drains stats on damage), Fatty Liver only targets Constitution, making it slightly more focused but equally destructive to the cat's survivability.
Fatty Liver should be replaced as soon as possible. The permanent CON drain makes the cat progressively weaker and more fragile over time, eventually reducing it to minimal HP. If you must keep it, pair with Immortal (all damage reduced to 1) or high dodge chance to minimize the number of damage triggers. Shield stacking helps since Shield absorbs damage before HP. Fatty Liver is devastating on frontline melee cats that take frequent hits but more manageable on ranged cats that avoid damage.
