Fidgety
When you end your turn, automatically use your weapon on a random unit in range, for free.
Fidgety causes your cat to automatically use its weapon on a random unit in range when it ends its turn, for free. This is essentially a bonus attack every turn that does not cost an action, though the target is randomly selected from all units in weapon range, including allies. The free weapon use can deal significant damage to enemies but may also accidentally hit party members.
Fidgety is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The free weapon attack triggers every turn, making it a reliable source of extra damage. The random targeting is the main concern, especially in mixed fights where allies stand within weapon range. Positioning your Fidgety cat so only enemies are in range eliminates the friendly fire risk.
Strategically, Fidgety is excellent on cats with powerful weapons, as the free attack effectively doubles their damage output each turn. Williams Syndrome (attacks may Charm) and Feline Aids (Poison 3 and Weakness 1 on basics) both trigger on the bonus attack, making the free hit even more valuable. Keep allies out of weapon range to prevent accidental hits. Fidgety is less useful on cats with weak basic attacks or those who rely primarily on spells, since the bonus attack uses the weapon action specifically.
