Disorder
Frail
Reduced durability and health
Frail imposes CON -2 on your cat, reducing its Constitution stat by 2. Constitution directly determines maximum HP, so a -2 reduction means less health and lower survivability. This makes the cat more fragile and easier to kill, which is problematic for any build but especially dangerous on frontline cats that absorb hits.
Frail is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. Among the stat-penalty disorders, Frail targets Constitution, which is universally important since every cat needs HP to survive. Unlike Intelligence or Charisma penalties that only affect specific builds, CON -2 hurts all cats equally.
Frail is one of the more impactful stat-penalty disorders and should be replaced when possible. Every cat needs HP to survive, so CON -2 is never irrelevant. High-dodge builds (Nudist, Anxiety) can partially compensate by avoiding hits entirely, and Immortal negates the problem by reducing all damage to 1 regardless of HP pool. On glass cannon builds that rely on killing enemies before being hit, the lower HP may not matter. For sustained combat, Frail is a significant liability.
