Disorder

Shunned

Take your turn last.

Shunned forces your cat to take its turn last in every round, regardless of its Speed stat. This means every enemy and ally acts before your cat does, leaving it to respond to whatever happened during the round rather than proactively shaping the battle. The guaranteed last turn is a significant tactical disadvantage since enemies can attack, reposition, and set up before you can respond.

Shunned is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. Shunned is the direct opposite of Brave, which grants earlier turn order. The last-turn position wastes any Speed investment the cat may have, making high-Speed stats irrelevant. This is a purely negative disorder with no compensating benefit.

Shunned should be replaced whenever possible. The forced last turn gives enemies free reign to position and attack before you can respond. The only slight silver lining is that acting last lets you see the full state of the battlefield before making decisions, which can be useful for reactive plays. Cats with counter-attack abilities or reactive effects may not mind the late turn as much. However, for most builds, acting first is far more valuable than acting last.
