Disorder
Brave
Take your turn earlier.
Brave causes your cat to take its turn earlier in the round, boosting its position in the turn order regardless of Speed stat. This is a purely beneficial disorder with no downsides, giving you the initiative to act before enemies and set up positioning, buffs, or attacks before the opposition can respond. Early turns are extremely valuable in tactical combat since they let you control the battlefield before it becomes chaotic.
Brave is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The turn order advantage is especially noticeable on cats with low base Speed, as it compensates for their natural slowness. Brave is the opposite of the Shunned disorder, which forces your cat to take its turn last.
Strategically, Brave is excellent on any cat, but it shines particularly on first-strike builds that benefit from acting before the enemy. Alpha-strike casters who want to nuke enemies before they can act, support cats that need to buff allies early, and melee cats that need to position aggressively all benefit from Brave. It pairs well with Elephantiasis (which loses Speed over time) by offsetting the progressive slowdown. Brave combined with any strong offensive disorder like The Shining or Blood Frenzy creates a cat that strikes first and strikes hard.
