Facegrub

Facegrub is a familiar variant of the Grub enemy, summoned as a combat ally rather than appearing as a hostile creature. It clings to its host's face and fights on the player's side, channeling its parasitic aggression toward enemies.

Like the Headgrub and Neckgrub, the Facegrub is part of a trio of body-attachment parasites that have been tamed into familiars. Each occupies a different attachment point and functions as an independent combatant on the battlefield, acting on its own turn each round.

Grub familiars are relatively low-impact individually, but having multiple parasitic familiars active at once creates a swarm effect on the battlefield. Pair them with abilities that buff familiars or with Necromancer builds that generate multiple small allies to maximize their collective pressure.
