A parasitic grub familiar that attaches near its host's head and fights alongside its tamer. The Headgrub is one of three grub-based familiars, distinguished from the Facegrub and Neckgrub by its positioning and summoning source.
As a converted parasite, the Headgrub directs its feeding instincts at enemies rather than its bonded cat. It acts independently in combat, moving toward targets and dealing melee damage. Its HP pool is small, so it functions best as a distraction and damage-dealer rather than a damage sponge.
Collecting multiple grub familiars simultaneously creates a swarm that can overwhelm enemies through sheer numbers. Even if each grub is individually weak, three grubs acting before your cats each turn can significantly soften up enemies before your primary attackers move in.
