A scientist cat enemy found in The Lab, recognizable in its white coat. Each turn, Dr. Cat randomly selects from six different spells: targeted damage with Ping, a Shockwave that deals more damage to close targets, teleporting onto enemies with Telefrag, inflicting Freeze with Stasis, gaining dodge and speed with Reduce, or bolstering its Holy Shield with Zealot.
Dr. Cat's six-spell random selection makes it highly unpredictable. Telefrag is especially dangerous since it teleports directly onto a cat, dealing damage regardless of range. Stasis can freeze a key party member for a turn at a critical moment. The Zealot shield refill means sustained chip damage may be undone, and Reduce's dodge boost makes it temporarily difficult to hit.
The unpredictability of Dr. Cat's spell selection means you can't fully counter it — focus on burst damage to kill it before it cycles through too many dangerous spells. Keep cats spread out to limit Telefrag's target options, and don't rely on distance as safety since Telefrag ignores it entirely. Prioritize Dr. Cat in rooms where it appears alongside other enemies, as its support spells (Zealot, Reduce) also benefit from not having attention split.
