INT scaling in Mewgenics applies to elemental and magical ability damage, meaning Book directly amplifies caster-archetype attacks with every point. Unlike STR (which scales physical hits) or DEX (accuracy), INT tends to have multiplicative effects when ability combos interact with each other — a higher INT makes each ability in a chain deal more, compounding through the rotation. +1 INT from a common trinket is modest but free.

Book is the go-to early filler for INT-reliant builds waiting for a higher-value INT source. In Copycat builds, +1 INT becomes +2, making Book's contribution competitive with some uncommon INT trinkets.
