Bulletproof Vest

The Bulletproof Vest provides +3 Armor and complete immunity to ranged attacks. In ranged-heavy zones, equipping this on a frontline cat makes them effectively invulnerable to the majority of incoming fire — all ranged hits simply don't land. The +3 Armor reduces physical melee damage on top, making this one of the most well-rounded defensive neck pieces available.

Ranged immunity is absolute — it doesn't reduce ranged damage, it prevents it entirely. This means projectile-type abilities, thrown weapons, and ranged basic attacks all fail to deal damage to the wearer. The immunity is valuable in any zone with multiple ranged enemies, but especially impactful in The Bunker and The Future where ranged threats dominate.

Best on frontline cats that anchor the position and want to be the primary ranged target. Pairing it with Brick Hat or Frying Pan covers melee and backstab vulnerabilities respectively, making the cat nearly untouchable from all angles. Primarily found at the neck armor slot; doesn't conflict with weapon or head piece choices.
