Cat Paw

The Cat Paw is a rare weapon in the Hybrid set with a 25% chance to refresh after each use, letting the same cat attack again without spending an additional action. The +2 Luck it provides feeds into any luck-dependent mechanics your run is built around. Since each refreshed swing is a full attack, on-hit effects — bleed-applying armor, poison procs, stat gains from weapons like the Jitte — all fire again for free.

The math averages out to roughly 1.33 attacks per action, but strings of three or four hits in one turn are possible. Cats with high Strength squeeze the most value from each extra swing, and anything that rewards landing multiple basics — status application, life-steal, resource generation — scales well with those lucky chains. It deals 4 damage per hit, so it holds up in the mid-game even without the refresh triggering.
