Child's Crown

A small crown with an outsized triple passive load. Metal tag for metal synergies, AddElementsToBasicAttack for elemental damage on every swing, and AddStatusToBasicAttack for a status proc on every swing. Each basic attack becomes a multi-layered payload: elemental damage and a status effect delivered simultaneously. One of the richest basic attack amplifiers available in the head slot.

AddElementsToBasicAttack attaches an elemental damage type (fire, ice, lightning, etc.) to every basic attack, making hits deal both physical and elemental damage simultaneously. AddStatusToBasicAttack then also applies a status proc on each hit. This means basic attacks interact with elemental resistances and weaknesses AND apply debuffs in the same motion. The Metal tag adds a third interaction layer with any metal-affecting mechanics.

Child's Crown is exceptional for builds that make frequent basic attacks and want to maximize each hit's total impact. Pairs with Cool Rocks, Eye of Ra, or Bozo for a stacked multi-source status build where basic attacks do more work than most abilities. The elemental addition also enables synergy with elemental amplification items. One of the strongest head armors for pure basic-attack-focused melee builds.
