Crisp Paper

Crisp Paper is a ranged weapon in the Paper set that deals no direct damage but applies 3 Bleed stacks in a single action, usable once per battle. Three stacks from range without needing to close in is efficient — most ways to apply that much Bleed require multiple hits or positioning tradeoffs. The play is to throw it at the start of the fight on a high-HP target and let the ticks accumulate over the whole encounter.

It shines most against bosses or tanky elites that you expect to fight for multiple turns — targets where each bleed tick matters more than instant burst. On fast encounters with weak enemies it's largely wasted. If you're building around the Paper set or stacking Bleed from multiple sources, Crisp Paper is a clean opener that doesn't cost you your main attack action in the same turn.

Pairs naturally with the Rusty Razor to stack both Bleed and Poison simultaneously from the first turn — open with Crisp Paper, then switch to Razor swings for the Bleed-plus-Poison combination. As a Paper set piece it contributes to set bonuses alongside Pinwheel and other Paper items. On non-Bleed builds it's still worth activating once per fight against a tough target; the 3-stack application is hard to replicate cheaply with other items.
