Feathered Veil

Rare face armor from the Feathered set. Grants a Counter Attack passive, automatically retaliating when hit in melee. Complements the Feathered Necklace's Dodge Chance — the necklace helps you avoid hits while the veil punishes anything that gets through. Together they create a light, reactive defensive kit that rewards positioning and lets the wearer benefit from both evasion and counterattack simultaneously.

CounterAttack automatically fires a return strike whenever the wearer is hit in melee, dealing damage without spending an action. It triggers regardless of whether the incoming hit was dodged or landed, meaning if the dodge from the Feathered Necklace fails and a hit connects, the counter attack fires back immediately. As a rare face piece, the Feathered Veil gives up the strong shield values available at that rarity in exchange for this reactive offensive passive.

The Feathered Veil is worth running standalone on any melee-facing cat that wants passive counter-damage without ability slot investment. The synergy with the Feathered Necklace is natural — dodge reduces how often you get hit, while CounterAttack ensures the hits that do land still result in free damage to the attacker.
