A beneficent worm nestled in the neck that gives back more than it takes. Heal Worm costs CON -1 to the host's maximum health but provides passive Health Regen each turn, gradually recovering damage sustained during a fight. For cats likely to take hits across extended encounters, the regen often outpaces the HP loss from the reduced Constitution, making this a net positive for survivability in long-form fights. Pairs well with high-defense cats who can afford to take a couple more hits while the worm does its work.
HealthRegenUp grants in-combat regeneration each turn, restoring HP as long as the cat is alive and the fight continues. This is particularly valuable in long fights where a cat is chipped down slowly rather than bursted. The CON -1 reduces the maximum HP ceiling, but the regen effectively compensates by recovering the HP that gets shaved away each round. The net effect over a 5-turn fight can be positive even against the HP cap reduction.
Heal Worm is excellent on tanky frontliners who absorb chip damage across many turns and benefit from staying topped up. It loses value on squishy cats who die quickly before the regen pays off. If your team lacks a dedicated healer, Heal Worm is a reliable self-sustain option for the tank role. Compare it against The Tick (post-combat regen) to decide which regen timing is more valuable for your current composition.
