DEX +2 scales into hit accuracy, critical chance, dodge or evasion bonuses, and any weapon or ability that explicitly scales with Dexterity. In the face armor slot, this is competitive against alternatives that might offer Shield or elemental passives but no stat bonus. For DEX-primary builds, Hunter's Patch is one of the cleanest face slot investments: no condition, no downside, just more DEX.

Hunter's Patch is an ideal face piece for Muggers, ranged attackers, or any DEX-stacking build. It competes directly with Atomic Mark (INT +2) and Cymothoa Exigua (STR +2 / DEX +2 / CHA -2) in the clean face slot. If your build doesn't use DEX at all, skip it for something that contributes to your actual damage or survival profile.
