Item
Hybrid Necklace
Common
Common neck armor from the Hybrid set. Applies Bruise to the wearer and grants Charge. The Hybrid set is unique in that each piece provides a completely different combination of passives — the Necklace brings melee-focused pressure, the Mask adds ranged Poison and Quivered, and the Hat adds Bleed and move-triggered projectiles. Together they cover melee, status, and ranged offense in one common-rarity set.
Bruise is a self-applied debuff that modifies how the cat takes or deals damage, while Charge enables a dash or lunge movement that deals damage on impact. As the neck slot piece, the Hybrid Necklace provides the most melee-oriented passives in the set. Unlike most set armor, the Hybrid set pieces don't share the same passives — each slot contributes different mechanics, meaning the full set brings six different passive effects at common rarity.
The Hybrid Necklace suits mobile, aggressive cats that want the Charge ability for repositioning or burst damage without spending an ability slot. Bruise has tradeoffs depending on how damage is calculated in the current run, so evaluate whether the self-debuff outweighs the Charge benefit for your specific build. The full Hybrid set is best on generalist or mixed-role cats where no single playstyle dominates and breadth of passive coverage matters more than depth.
