Lucky Hat

The Lucky Hat is a common head armor that provides +1 Luck with the Fragile status. A single Luck point is most valuable in builds that scale off Luck — the Mangy Wig spawns Spiderlings based on Luck (1 per 4 points), and the Cat Paw's 25% refresh is a luck-adjacent mechanic. Fragile means the item is more susceptible to breaking, which is the tradeoff for an otherwise free stat gain.

Luck influences random proc chances throughout the game — crit rates, proc triggers, favorable random outcomes. +1 Luck is a small contribution, but it stacks with other Luck sources and feeds into builds where Luck matters multiplicatively. The Fragile status means hard hits or certain effects can break the Lucky Hat prematurely, ending both the Luck bonus and the head slot protection simultaneously.

Best in runs where you're stacking Luck deliberately — alongside the Cat Paw, Cat's Eye, or other Luck sources. Its primary contribution to the Mangy Wig's Spiderling scaling is modest (+1 Luck = less than half a Spiderling), but it stacks with other Luck items to cross thresholds faster. Avoid it as a primary head armor if the head slot is needed for something with real protective value. Treat the +1 Luck as a freebie rather than a build cornerstone.
