Meat Bomb

Meat Bomb is a rare throwable weapon that packages raw meat with an explosive charge, detonating in a meaty splatter that deals AoE damage. The meat content may attract or confuse nearby enemies, adding a behavior-manipulation element to the explosive damage.

The explosion deals physical damage in an area, and the meat splatter coating survivors may apply a Bleed or Chum-like effect that changes their behavior or makes them targets for other predatory enemies. Meat Bomb is one of the few AoE weapons in the physical/meat item space, making it a versatile damage tool in dense enemy rooms.

Meat Bomb fits naturally into Bleed and meat-themed team builds, complementing Meat Slugger, Bloody Bag of Glass, and other meat or blood items. Use it to soften clustered enemy groups before your melee cats close in. The behavior-affecting meat residue can create chaotic situations that benefit teams with high adaptability or builds that exploit enemy infighting.
