Rare face armor from the Mundane set. Grants +1 to all seven stats. Completing the Mundane set with the Normal Ears and Mundane Collar stacks +3 to every stat, providing a broad foundation without relying on specific passives or triggers. An excellent choice for flex slots when no other face armor offers a clear advantage, and especially useful for cats whose abilities scale across multiple stats.

As the face slot of the Mundane set, Ordinary Whiskers competes with face armors that have shield values, passive procs, or special effects at the rare tier. Its advantage is simplicity: no conditions, no proc chances, no tradeoffs. Every stat goes up by 1. In rare cases, +1 CHA or +1 LCK from this item can be the deciding factor in an event outcome or a crit that wouldn't otherwise have landed.

Most valuable as the third piece of the Mundane set, completing the triple +1-to-all-stats bonus. Outside the set, Ordinary Whiskers serves as a reliable placeholder for the face slot when no specialized rare face armor is available. Particularly effective on cats whose builds span multiple stat types, where the broad +1 produces more total value than a large bonus to a stat the cat only partially uses.
