The dodge chance scales with your total armor, making the Phoenix set most effective on defensively geared cats. The movement-triggered status effect rewards mobile playstyles — staying active in battle stacks compounding advantages across all three Phoenix pieces.

ArmorDodgeChance is a scaling defensive passive — the more armor you stack, the higher your dodge chance becomes. This creates a compounding defensive identity when combined with other armor-boosting items (like Big Rock pieces or Shield trinkets), since higher armor feeds both direct damage reduction and dodge. StatusOnEndMove fires every time you use a move action, so mobile cats that reposition frequently generate a stream of free status procs throughout the fight.

Phoenix Necklace is best on cats that move every turn and wear meaningful armor — ideally completing the full Phoenix set (Necklace, Mask, Hat) to stack all three ArmorDodgeChance and StatusOnEndMove sources simultaneously.
