Propeller Cap

Propeller Cap is an uncommon head armor that provides 2 Shield and grants the Flying status. Flying typically allows the wearer to bypass ground-based traps and effects, or provides positional advantages in combat. The shield is modest, but the Flying passive can make a significant difference against enemies whose abilities specifically target grounded units.

Flying status changes how the game categorizes the wearer for targeting purposes. Ground-based AoE abilities, terrain hazards, and certain enemy attacks that specify ground targets will miss a Flying cat entirely, effectively providing immunity to a whole category of damage sources. The 2 Shield adds a small absorb buffer on top of that, softening the first couple of hits in any engagement. The shield value is low for an uncommon head slot, so the Flying mechanic is doing the heavy lifting — its worth rises dramatically in zones with frequent ground-targeting enemies.

Propeller Cap is a situational but rewarding pick in encounters where ground-immunity matters. Backline cats that want to stay out of melee range, or runs with frequent floor traps and ground sweeps, get the most value. Outside of Flying-relevant scenarios the item underperforms for an uncommon slot — 2 Shield is weak and there is no stat bonus.
