Raptor Egg

A rare consumable that instantly heals you to full HP. That alone makes it worth picking up, but the Raptor Egg doesn't simply disappear after use — instead, it sticks around with a 10% chance at the end of each turn to crack open and summon a Charmed Raptor Kitten ally. The summon is unreliable due to the low proc rate, but any combat where it triggers is a pleasant bonus on top of the already-strong full heal. A nice find in The Jurassic chapter.

The full HP restoration is the primary use case — it refills to max regardless of current HP or HP cap, making it valuable at any point in a fight. After use, the egg persists in inventory and has a 10% end-of-turn chance to hatch. In a typical 5-10 turn fight, this averages roughly a 40-65% chance of hatching at least once. The Raptor Kitten is Charmed, meaning it fights for you until the charm expires or it's defeated.

Best used in long fights where the egg has time to sit and potentially hatch multiple times. In boss fights specifically, the full heal buys longevity while the hatching process runs in the background. The Jurassic chapter is the natural home for this item, where the Raptor Kitten ally fits thematically and the hatch adds to your side's numbers in extended engagements.
