Rock Mask

An uncommon face armor from The Caves, part of the Rock set. Grants +6 Shield with a -1 SPD penalty and the Brittle tag. Basic attacks apply +1 Knockback, and the armor yields coins when it breaks.

Face armor is frequently targeted, so the Brittle tag carries more risk here than on the neck slot. However, the +6 Shield provides so much buffer that it still soaks plenty of damage before breaking. The coin drop on break is a small but welcome economic consolation when it does finally shatter.

The face slot piece of the Rock set. The full set stacks +18 Shield total across all three pieces, making for an extremely tanky setup that profits even in its own destruction. Best on slow, high-durability builds where acting last is acceptable in exchange for absorbing massive damage.
