Rubber Cement

A rare trinket that makes all your projectiles bounce off surfaces and enemies via BouncyProjectiles. Rubber Cement is a significant upgrade for ranged builds — bouncing shots can hit multiple targets, ricochet into blind spots, or strike enemies that would otherwise be protected by positioning. Best on cats with multiple projectile-firing abilities or weapons that already deal solid per-hit damage.

Bouncing projectiles interact with the terrain layout of each encounter — tight corridors and walled rooms amplify the effect dramatically since projectiles ricochet multiple times before stopping. In open rooms with fewer walls, the bounce may only produce one extra hit. Scouting the map layout and positioning your cat to maximize bounce angles is key to extracting full value from Rubber Cement.

Pairs exceptionally with projectiles that carry status effects — each bounce is a fresh hit that re-applies the debuff. Obi (MoveQuivered), Hunter's Quiver, and any abilities that fire multiple projectiles become far more dangerous when each shot also bounces. In small rooms against grouped enemies, a single bouncing shot can hit every target in the encounter.
