Slag Tight

A tight-fitting helmet of hardened industrial slag that protects at the cost of mental acuity. Slag Tight provides 5 Shield and the Brace passive — reducing incoming damage when the wearer braces for a hit — and adds a status effect to each basic attack. The steep INT -4 penalty makes this a poor choice for spellcasters but a reasonable tradeoff for physical fighters who never relied on Intelligence in the first place. The combination of shielding, bracing, and a basic attack debuff makes it a solid all-around defensive piece for melee-oriented cats.
