Slag is an End chapter enemy with 40 HP that spawns additional enemies based on how it is damaged. Melee hits spawn Edemas, while ranged hits spawn Fly Swarms — meaning almost every conventional attack method triggers reinforcements. The exception is knockback and status-effect damage, which deal harm without activating the spawn mechanic. Its ranged attack hits multiple tiles in an area and inflicts Bruise. Dealing with it via knockback chains or DoT effects is the safest way to avoid being overwhelmed by its spawns.
