Throbbing Crown

A pulsating metal crown that beats with its own rhythm. It applies a status effect at the end of every turn regardless of actions taken, making it one of the few head items that generates status pressure entirely passively. The Metal tag adds synergy with metal-affecting abilities. Pairs well with builds focused on stacking debuffs over time, since the proc fires whether the wearer attacks or not.

StatusEachTurnEnd fires at the close of the wearer's turn every round, independent of any actions taken that turn. Whether the wearer attacked, used abilities, moved, or did nothing, the proc fires. This makes it valuable in situations where the wearer is stunned, frozen, or occupied with non-damaging actions — the status still applies. In long fights it accumulates many stacks over time without costing the wearer anything.

Throbbing Crown is excellent for support builds, utility casters, or any unit that spends turns doing non-attack actions but still wants passive status pressure on enemies. The Metal tag allows interactions with Magnetism builds. Stacks well with Steven's Fart Face for double end-of-turn status procs from two item slots. Most useful in extended fights where the per-turn proc fires many times.
