Defeat the Throbbing King on Hard difficulty to unlock the Throbbing Crown, a head armor that causes tentacles to attack all adjacent tiles at the end of your turn. On Hard, the King's already massive HP pool increases by 20%, and he gains elite effects that force you to adapt your strategy. His Orders mechanic telegraphs powerful attacks on highlighted tiles, giving you one turn to reposition. Poison and damage-over-time effects are essential for the long fight ahead. Make sure your party has strong mobility to dodge his area attacks and a dedicated healer to sustain through the extended encounter.
