Blessing of Peace

Gain +{stacks} [img:divineshield] at the end of your turn. Lose this when you deal damage.

Blessing of Peace is a passive buff that generates +1 Holy Shield at the end of the unit's turn, providing a free defensive layer each round. However, this blessing is lost the moment the unit deals any damage, including through abilities, basic attacks, or even Thorns retaliation. This creates a pacifist constraint where the unit must avoid all offensive actions to maintain the Holy Shield generation.

Blessing of Peace is ideally suited for dedicated support builds that focus exclusively on healing, buffing, and positioning without dealing damage. A support cat with Blessing of Peace can accumulate Holy Shield stacks over multiple turns, becoming increasingly difficult to damage while providing utility to the team through non-damaging spells and abilities.

The main risk with Blessing of Peace is accidental damage that breaks the blessing. Thorns, damage auras, and any incidental damage effects can trigger the loss condition. When building around Blessing of Peace, carefully avoid all damage-dealing status effects and ensure the cat's spells are purely supportive. The Holy Shield generated each turn provides strong protection against occasional hits, making the peaceful cat surprisingly durable despite not fighting directly.
