Status Effect

Elite Buff: Creepy

Basic attack inflicts Poison. Leaves a trail of creep.

Internal engine status effect. This is the status applied to elite enemies with the Creepy modifier. Creepy causes the enemy to apply Fear or other psychological debuffs to nearby cats, potentially causing them to flee or lose turns.

Creepy elites create zones of dread that disrupt your team's positioning and action economy. Cats affected by Fear are forced to flee away from the source, wasting their movement and potentially moving into dangerous positions or hazardous terrain. The Fear effect can cascade in tight spaces, causing cats to flee into worse positions than where they started.

Ranged cats can engage Creepy elites from outside the Fear aura radius. Fear immunity or cleansing effects prevent the forced movement. If a cat is feared, it will flee at the start of its turn, so removing Fear before the cat's turn begins prevents the wasted movement. In enclosed spaces, Creepy elites are especially dangerous since there is less room to flee safely.
