Elite Buff: Lucky (Boss)

Internal engine status effect. This is the boss-specific variant of the Lucky elite buff. Lucky increases the enemy's critical hit chance and may improve their odds on random effects. The boss version provides even higher crit rates, making boss attacks more likely to land devastating critical hits.

Critical hits from a Lucky boss deal significantly amplified damage that can one-shot or severely wound even tanky cats. The elevated crit rate means defensive planning must account for frequent damage spikes rather than consistent damage. Shield and Brace provide the most reliable protection since they reduce or absorb damage regardless of whether the hit was a crit.

Keep your cats' health topped off when fighting a Lucky boss, as the frequent crits create constant lethal threats. Auto Revive provides insurance against the inevitable crit spike that downs a cat. The standard version, Elite Buff: Lucky, applies to non-boss elites with a lower crit boost.
