Flammable

This item burns up when hit with fire.

Flammable is a vulnerability status that makes the afflicted unit susceptible to ignition by fire sources. When a Flammable unit comes into contact with fire, the Flammable status is consumed and the unit gains Burn stacks. This converts a latent vulnerability into active fire damage, similar to how Tarred interacts with fire but as a distinct mechanic.

Flammable is primarily applied through environmental interactions and certain ability effects. The Flammable status serves as a setup condition that creates additional danger around fire terrain, fire-element enemies, and fire-based abilities. Units with Flammable should avoid fire tiles and fire-element attacks.

When applied to enemies, Flammable creates an opportunity for fire-element combos. Apply Flammable first, then ignite the target with any fire source for amplified Burn damage. The Wet status prevents ignition from fire sources, effectively neutralizing Flammable while active. Managing Flammable involves awareness of fire hazards on the battlefield and positioning accordingly.
