C-800 Boss Guide

C-800250 HP

Overview

C-800 is a House Boss encountered in The Bunker after clearing the required Future progression milestone. With 250 HP and clearly inspired by the Terminator franchise, C-800 fights using explosive grenades and a rotating arsenal of firearms. The defining mechanic of this fight is a staggering 50 stacks of Brace that depletes one stack per damage tick, making multi-hit attacks and DoT effects far more effective than single large hits.

Key Mechanics

50 Brace Stacks

C-800 starts with 50 stacks of Brace, which decreases by 1 for each tick of damage it takes. As the Brace depletes, the boss becomes more visibly robotic, its organic disguise deteriorating to reveal the machine underneath. This means multi-hit attacks are far more efficient than single large hits for stripping Brace.

Grenade Pressure

At the start of each round, C-800 throws two grenades that explode at the end of the round in a 2-tile radius. These explosions remove multiple stacks of buffs from anything caught in the blast. Reposition your cats away from grenade landing zones immediately.

Firearm Rotation

Each turn, C-800 switches to a random firearm and attacks with it at the start of the next turn. The weapon determines the attack pattern, so watch which gun he draws to predict the next attack's range and shape.

Melee Retaliation

C-800 retaliates against melee attackers with a suplex that stuns the unit, followed by punches. Avoid melee range unless your cat can absorb the punishment.

Strategy

Prioritise multi-hit abilities and DoT effects to strip the 50 Brace stacks quickly. Each poison tick, bleed tick, or multi-hit ability removes Brace stacks individually, making them dramatically more effective than high-damage single strikes that only remove one stack each.

Keep your distance. Ranged attackers avoid the melee suplex retaliation, and maintaining mobility lets you dodge grenade blast zones. Watch for grenade landing positions at the start of each round and immediately move any cat within 2 tiles of the landing zone.

The fight has two effective phases: the early Brace-stripping phase where your damage is heavily reduced, and the post-Brace phase where your attacks land at full value. Once the Brace is gone, switch to your highest raw-damage abilities to finish C-800 quickly.
