Overview
The Father is an endgame boss with 999 HP, alongside The Creator as one of the hardest encounters in Mewgenics. These fights represent the current ceiling of the game’s difficulty and are intended for fully-built, well-levelled parties that have cleared all earlier content.
Preparation
Before attempting The Father, ensure your party is at the maximum level achievable in your current run and has strong item loadouts. Bring your best healing items as consumables.
Class composition matters more here than in any earlier fight. A Cleric as a dedicated healer, a Tank as the frontliner, and two offensive classes with high sustained DPS and DoT abilities is the standard approach.
Strategy
Focus on sustained damage output over burst. At 999 HP burst strategies are largely irrelevant: no single ability combination in the early game deals enough damage to skip phases or end the fight quickly.
Stack bleed, poison, and burn simultaneously if your party has access to all three. Triple-DoT pressure at 30+ damage per round means that over 20 rounds you passively deal 600+ HP damage without spending actions on it.
Save one defensive cooldown (shield, dodge, or invulnerability) for an emergency revival if a cat drops. Losing a cat halfway through a 999 HP fight is often a run-ender without a recovery option.
