Acute Stress Reaction: Fight grants +6 Strength while your cat has 5 or fewer HP, turning near-death situations into a massive offensive power spike. The +6 Strength is an enormous boost that dramatically increases melee damage output, turning a dying cat into a ferocious last-stand fighter. This disorder rewards aggressive play at low HP by making the cat hit harder than ever when it is closest to death.
Acute Stress Reaction: Fight is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. It is the offensive counterpart to Acute Stress Reaction: Flight, which grants +6 Speed at low HP instead. Both share the 5 HP threshold and represent the fight-or-flight response, with Fight being the aggressive option.
Strategically, ASR: Fight excels on melee cats with high survivability at low HP. Pairing it with Immortal (all damage reduced to 1) creates a cat that stays at low HP safely while hitting with boosted Strength. Nudist's dodge chance helps survive at the threshold. The Hunger (lifesteal on basics) can make the cat hover near 5 HP by healing just enough to stay alive. The disorder is less useful on fragile cats that die before reaching the threshold or ranged cats that do not benefit from Strength.
