Disorder
Narcolepsy
At the end of your turn, fall asleep, heal 10 HP and gain 7 mana.
Narcolepsy forces your cat to fall asleep at the end of every turn, but compensates with significant resource recovery: healing 10 HP and gaining 7 mana while sleeping. The automatic sleep means your cat only gets one conscious turn before falling asleep again, then wakes up and acts before falling asleep once more. This creates a cycle of act-sleep-wake-act that provides enormous sustain at the cost of reduced action frequency.
Narcolepsy is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The 10 HP and 7 mana per sleep cycle is extremely generous, making the cat nearly unkillable through attrition since it regenerates a large chunk of resources every round. However, being asleep makes the cat vulnerable to attacks that deal bonus damage to sleeping targets.
Strategically, Narcolepsy excels on cats that make each turn count with high-impact actions. Since you effectively get one action per cycle, make it a powerful spell or devastating attack. The 7 mana regeneration means you can cast expensive spells every turn without running dry. Be cautious about pairing it with Sleep Paralysis, which would spawn a demon every time the cat falls asleep. Insomnia would completely disable Narcolepsy's sleep trigger, removing both the resource gain and the sleeping vulnerability. On tanky casters with expensive spells, Narcolepsy provides unmatched sustain.
